Woman enters not-guilty plea in connection with alleged DUI crash

A woman, 24, recently pleaded not guilty after reportedly drinking and driving and killing a bicyclist in Colorado back in June. The woman's formal charges include weaving, DUI (second offense), leaving a fatal accident scene and vehicular homicide. As a result of the woman's not-guilty plea, her trial has been scheduled for April of next year.

Vehicular assault or homicide charge may stem from DUI accident

A woman in Colorado recently lost her life in a hit-and-run vehicle crash that police said was caused by drunk driving. Now, authorities are investigating a man on charges of vehicular homicide. When a person is charged with vehicular assault or homicide following a DUI accident, he or she is still presumed innocent until and unless his or her guilt can be proved in a court of law.

Man accused of killling cadet in DUID crash found guilty

A 28-year-old man in Colorado was recently found guilty of murder after driving while under the influence of methamphetamine and killing a police cadet. The cadet who was killed in the DUID accident was 21 years old. He was training to be a trooper at the time of the accident.
